Enterprise architecture,
migration & AI systems.

I design and lead technology changes in systems the business depends on every day.

For 17 years, my work has combined architecture with hands-on technical investigation across infrastructure, cloud, identity and collaboration platforms.

Architecture & Migration

I design target architectures and migration paths for cloud, identity and collaboration platforms. The work includes coexistence between old and new environments, keeping access intact during the move and separating systems that need to operate independently.

I work with the teams responsible for security, applications and operations to turn the design into an executable plan, with clear ownership, testing and operational handover.

Technical Investigation

When a migration stalls or an application behaves differently than expected, I trace the problem across infrastructure, identity, networking and the application itself.

That often means reconstructing undocumented dependencies, testing assumptions and working across team boundaries. The aim is to understand the cause, resolve it and leave the people running the system with a clear account of what changed.

AI Systems

I build AI systems that carry out tasks, with checks on the results and control over cost.

My own projects include on-device AI in an iOS application and a publishing pipeline that evaluates output before human approval. I also work with local and hosted models, routing tasks between them and tracking usage.

For coding agents, I use explicit goals, persistent state and automated verification. Completion needs evidence, not just an agent reporting success.

Projects, ideas & experiments

The Cloudy Brain

The Cloudy Brain is where I write about my own projects, ideas and experiments. I share what I'm working on, the decisions behind it, and what I learn along the way, including what doesn't work.
